How To Remove Scratches From Nintendo DS Touch Screen

The Nintendo DS touch screen is quiet tough when it comes to durability. If you have been using your finger nails or a third party stylus that is not genuine, chances are there are scratches visible on screen. If don't want to replace the screen and want to minimize their appearance, you can try using toothpaste. It works wonders for removing scratches on CDs and because the outer screen is made from plastic, its a good remedy that you should try.

1) Power off the handheld.

2) Apply two blobs of toothpaste on the area of the screen that is scratched.

3) Get a soft cloth and run in the toothpaste for a good five minutes buffing it in.

4) Keep polishing it in until you are happy with the results. Sometimes it can take up to half an hour depending on how deep they are!

5) Fit a clear screen protector to prevent further damage.
