The Sony PSP vita has an integrated microphone that allows you to chat to your friends during online gaming. Sometimes the PSP vita mic can stop working and people can't hear you when speaking on games. Usually, the microphone setting will need to be changed as it can be accidentally muted.
1) During a game, press the 'PS' home button.
2) A quick menu will pop up with different options.
3) Untick the 'Disable Microphone' option.
