I have just passed my driving test and have got a Citroen Saxo VTR. Its not bad for my first car, its even got a subwoofer, tinted windows and a cold air intake all for two hundred pounds. I have no money left to spend on a new loud exhaust system. I have seen some cheap Exhaust tips at Halfords. They are really shiny and chrome and look like the ones from that movie called 2 fast 2 furious. My question is do exhaust tips make your car louder?
Unfortunately, no they don't make your car louder in anyway. They are purely for aesthetic looks and nothing else to make you look cool at the shows like Japfest and car meets in your local car parks. If you want to make your car exhaust louder all you need is a drill. Here is an article that you might find interesting to read in your own time.
