If you are having problems with your Sandisk mp3 player if its freezing or not turning on, then you can perform a factory hard reset. Most of the time this fixes common issues with this device since its mostly software and very rare that the hardware goes bad. The instructions given are the same for a variety of different models including the clip and fuse players.
1) Unplug headphones and charger.
2) Look for the power button slider. Either on the left or right sides of the device.
3) Slide it upwards and hold it for 20 seconds without letting go.
4) If that doesn't work try putting something into the reset pin hole at the back.
